FAMILY TIME

Our camera was out of commission for awhile, so I have some make-up posting to do. This is what's been going on...

Two Peas in a Pod

You should see Garrett and Ethan together...
they are crazy about each other!

Ethan just lights up whenever Garrett walks in the room. Garrett wants to dress Ethan up as "Mini-G" for Halloween, but I'm in protest. I'm thinking more along the line of Panda Bear or Cuddly Lion.

UPDATE: We found a puppy costume last night. Garrett's the one in protest now...he's not crazy about the big dog outfit he'll wear (just kidding). I'll post a picture next week.


Watch Ethan Go!

Ethan's gone from sitting up by himself, crawling, and now standing up...all at 7 months old! Looking back at Garrett's baby calendar, I see Ethan is following in his big brother's footsteps. Both boys did these at almost the same exact age! Can't wait to hear him talk...that's next on the list. It was slow-going for a little while, but Ethan's got the whole crawling thing down to a science...go go Speed Racer!

Last Night

Last night we had dinner with Blayne's family. During dinner as Garrett enjoyed stuffing himself on steak and ice cream, Ethan was a little fussy and not his usual happy self. Once we got into the car, I was able to capture his usual joy...

The Chair

5 years ago we went to Nicaragua with Blayne's family. We brought back a rocking chair that is now in Ethan's room. He loves to rock in it! As soon as I set him in the chair, the thumb goes in and he's happy and content for a very long time.

We then discovered he likes the mini-chair Julio's family sent back last year. Aunt Cara was supervising...
