HAPPY DAYS

Halloween 2007

We had quite an exciting Halloween this year. The week before, Garrett's school had "Red Ribbon Week" where the kids have special days (crazy hat, funny socks, etc). One day was 80's day and Garrett went all out as an 80's hair band. They had a contest and he won for the whole school! We are so proud...

(Garrett's pictures to be posted...waiting for Blayne to return with camera)

Ethan however had a little different experience. We found out earlier that day he had a double ear infection. So after a visit to the doctor and one dose of medicine, little Ethan was a reluctant yet ADORABLE little puppy. We got a few good pictures in until he was no longer happy.
We made it to 4 houses until Ethan was DONE! Then the little puppy went to bed while his big brother ran around the neighborhood with the other crazy kids and had a great time.

Boating

We were able to enjoy a little boat ride the other day. Garrett wake boarded while we watched. When he jumped in the water, we thought his eyes would pop out from the cold, but he was determined to board and insisted that he "got used to it" really quick. Yes, Houston does get cold in November.

The water was choppy, but he managed to have a few good runs while Ethan enjoyed the ride.

Garrett's Last Football Game
Garrett's last game was a inter-squad scrimmage, but it still was a great game. Garrett is #89 in white. His team didn't win, but they put up a good fight. Here's a clip of the game. (Sorry it's wobbly, but Ethan was getting a little fussy at this point). Watch this incredible play...

The purple team intercepted the ball and made a touchdown, but you will see Garrett out-runs the entire team and almost caught the runner...I was so proud!

He's in track next semester, I'm SURE he'll be a champ!

ETHAN'S NEW TOY

Ethan's favorite activity as early as 3 months old was to be bounced (high!) on the exercise ball.

So we are not surprised to find that his new joy is found in a tree swing. From the first moment he sat down, he loved it!
