Christmas at the Hatcher's

Wow, what a Christmas! Ethan was so excited to meet Santa, open his first present, and be with family! We had a blast preparing for the big day. We are all excited about sharing Christmas with Ethan for years to come! Garrett's big deal is "traditions". He and I put up the Christmas ornaments while drinking hot chocolate/apple cider, he gets a nutcracker each year, and watching Christmas movies on Christmas Eve. So Garrett's decided to start a few with Ethan...they'll have Santa pictures made together every year and then take Ethan to Build-a-Bear...this year he made Ethan a puppy named "Davidson"...

On the big day, Garrett showed Ethan what to do. First the stocking...

Next, open your presents...

Then play with your new toys...

We went to Arlington and spent time with family.

Grandma & Grandpa Clary met Ethan for the first time...

It has been a big season of "Firsts". Grandad even gave Ethan a bath for the first time!

Other than the stomach virus Blayne, Garrett and I had during the holiday and then "sharing" it with dad & Jake (we are SO SORRY), it was a great Christmas. We can't wait till next year!

Dear Lord Above Please Look After Little Ethan On His Speedy Recovery. And, too, always be by their side while raising these two young men. Our Love, Prayers and Thoughts Are Daily with my precious presents you have given us/me. Thank You Lord. And, please continue to watch over them, my other family members and their extended family, too. We give you all the honor and glory. Amen.
